Customer and staff safety
At Xcel Bowl we are doing what we can to ensure you have a fun and safe time at our centre.
Mask must be worn at all times. Masks may be removed whilst bowling or seated at a dinning table.
Pre-Booking & payment
Due to limited space, pre-booking to use our centre is highly recommended. We will ask for payment up front upon booking.
For the safety of all our customers and team, we must advise that should you not be feeling well or have recently been exposed to anyone who has shown symptoms of COVID-19, to not visit Xcel Bowl.
Number of guests on site.
Our lanes operate with the maximum of 6 people to each lane. Every other lane will be closed.
We will also be limiting the number of people allowed in the building.
We continue to listening to Government advice and are strictly adhering to all social distancing guidelines. We are enforcing a strict 2 meter plus distancing between guests. It is the responsibility of adults to ensure that anybody within their group who is under the age of 18 adheres to Social Distancing rules.
Track and Trace
To support Government guidelines, you will be asked to register your details on our Track and Trace system. This will be managed at arrival when entering Xcel Bowl. Should you have any questions please speak with a member of staff.
Queuing and Dinning
Throughout the center we have clearly marked areas on the floor with the correct distancing.
We have strategically spaced all our tables to adhere to Social Distancing measures. These should not be moved, for the safety of others.
Bowling Lanes, Balls and Shoes
Our center will be sanitised daily before we open. Every lane will be sanitised after every customer has finished their hour bowl, ready for the next guests.
We will not be issuing out bowling shoes so please bring your own. Please refrain from wearing open toes, heels or wedges.
Our center will have Sanitisation stations throughout the venue. Disposable gloves are available if you require them.
Food and Drink
Drinks, lite snacks and main meals will be available, but they are not to be consumed on the lanes.
We would prefer all transactions to be cashless so the contactless limit has been increased to £45. Pre booking is also advised.
Not all of our amusements will be available to follow the guidelines of the Government regarding Social Distancing. If amusements do not meet these guidelines it will have an “out of order” sign on it.
Xcel Bowl Staff
Perspex screens have been installed at all till points to ensure the safety of you and our teams. All staff are required to wear face shields or masks for their protection.
Daily health check assessments will be made by our team to ensure they are in the best health to serve you.
If lip reading service is required staff will remove their mask.
Throughout the day staff will routinely clean toilets, touchscreens, work surfaces, tables, chairs and door handles, among others.
The soft play is limited to 6 children, and is down to guardians to look after their own children's care and safety.
